Setting a new benchmark for environmentally sustainable design, Auckland's Geyser complex of five buildings, twin courtyards and veils of glass uses only 27% of the energy for a building of similar size and function.
A key feature of this award-winning site is it's fully automated 180-car stacking system, the largest of its kind in New Zealand.
This massive steel structure is totally underground, providing highly efficient parking for Geyser’s many tenants and visitors.
The system is the result of over 2 years of design and installation work from APS.
“There’s nothing else like it. It’s certainly the largest of its kind in New Zealand. It’s been a complex job at times, but thanks to the skills of our dedicated installation team, the Geyser building has a car parking system second to none”
Card or ticket access allows motorists to drive into one of four virtual garages.
“Simply follow the displayed instructions, and directional lights will lead you to a virtual garage. Hop out of your car, and the machine will take over and transport your vehicle to an available space.”
